How does work projectfacts?
Each project is written with data from various sectors:
- Activities: Times
- Progress data: Milestones, Team, Plan, Status, Feedback, Events, Notes, Priority
- Financial data: Incomes, Expenses, Forecast
- Documents: All types of documents, which are important for the project.
For the analysis of a project, all data is shown in temporal context. Timing and time represented can be freely selected (Global, daily, monthly, quarterly or annual display).
So when looked at, it is evident who has worked in the project and when. Whether and when was the critical phase and how far has the project been completed.
As overview of all active projects, progress data uses the latest information, e.g. latest priority or latest status, so that the viewer can immediately realize the present situation and know where the critical states are or where schedules and budgets are being kept.
Reports, warnings and income statements of projectfacts are based on data, which the employee has entered before and during the project duration. Here it is ensured that it incurred in the least possible expenses for individual projects and data have to be inserted by the right persons. That means a normal employee should schedule his work time, a project manager maintains the status reports and the management maintains the priorities, etc.
Basically the maintenance and input efforts are kept as low as possible. Practicable functions, such as copying of activities, allocation of time or saving of templates in own favourites, help in reducing the efforts to a minimum.
Application is to be served intuitively. A manual and online help could provide sensible help in case of requirement. An optional training of employees is also possible.
