WAHLER Human Resources
Success Story
Improved processes, fast customer acquisition and the end of cost drivers

“Attendance and project times were often recorded using several individual tools. In addition, modules such as CRM, invoicing, etc. were also separated from each other. This was not an optimal solution for me right from the start!”
In view of this experience, Wahler looked around for software that would cover all the relevant functions for him. These include project planning and management, the WAHLER Human Resources Success Story recording of attendance and project times, the billing of travel times and the management of CRM and employee data.
“With projectfacts, I realized that the combination of the individual modules and how they are put together is simply unique.”
Michael Wahler was impressed by the functional linking of the modules, such as the interaction between invoicing and time recording. The employees record their times, which are then automatically displayed as billable times in the order. “This means that the accounting department knows immediately what can be invoiced to the customer. This saves us a lot of administrative work,” explains Michael Wahler in an interview.
Easy introduction
“Our employees appreciate the simplicity of the system.”
In the beginning, the focus was on projects, time recording, invoicing and HR. In the meantime, more and more projectfacts functions are being used. For example, the ticket system is used for new incoming applications. “We have to channel applications,” says Wahler. This means that only certain employees have access to the respective ticket channels.
Improved processes thanks to a centralized system
“Our sales process is efficient thanks to projectfacts.”
We are confident that this will enable us to get projects up and running more quickly for our customers. Added value for both sides,” says Wahler happily. With the help of reports on all relevant business figures, it is easy for him to keep the advisory board informed of the latest figures.
One function that is essential for a consulting company is digital travel expense accounting. “The fact that travel expenses can be settled directly in projectfacts is of course very appealing, as these are subsequently included in our invoicing. The link between the two functions is a huge advantage for us. The core function, working time recording in combination with the invoicing module, as well as the travel expense accounting, made the decision for projectfacts easy for us at the time,” says the head of the management consultancy.
Another plus point in his eyes are the regular updates and further developments at projectfacts.
“It’s great to work with a company that, like us, is always striving for improvement and smart solutions.”
Smooth transition to working from home
“Without projectfacts, there would not only be a lot more administrative work, but also paper.”
“We want to avoid this as much as possible in terms of sustainability.” The only challenge for WAHLER HR during the crisis was the lack of space for informal discussions. “When you’re not working together on customer projects or on site at the customer’s premises, you don’t have much room to talk privately,” Wahler explains. However, in order to consciously create this kind of space for his employees, he decided to give them extra time to talk outside of work.
WAHLER HR is also affected by the crisis
“The good and
partnership-based cooperation with projectfacts was particularly evident when it came to short-time working.”
“We communicated our requirements to projectfacts and they were implemented quickly and easily for us.” Michael Wahler would like to finish with a little anecdote: “The tool doesn’t just offer us great added value internally. I often use projectfacts with customers as an example of how a cloud system works and should work – simply and comprehensibly.”
