Time recording terminal – login with chip or card
The projectfacts time recording system can be linked to a stationary terminal in your company. You can then log in at the touch of a button, using a chip or a barcode card. Any barcode, RFID or NFC reader is sufficient for check-in and check-out. The terminal records the arrival and break times as well as the time of check-out.
On request, we can set up an industrial terminal for time recording. Employees are recognised via an ID or personnel number. The projectfacts time recording system thus provides you with complete documentation of attendance times. The necessary software is included in the standard licence for projectfacts. Any computer with an appropriate barcode, RFID or NFC reader can be used as hardware.
When your employees enter or leave the building, they log in with a small chip. For example, in the form of a key fob or a barcode card. Simply place it on the terminal reader and remove it again. Registration is confirmed by an acoustic signal, but can also be displayed on a tablet. If required, the tablet always shows which employees are currently checked in. You can use the time recording terminal to sign in and out for breaks.
This turns the time recording terminal into a digital time clock: it replaces the classic punch clock with modern hardware time recording, in which every time recording device transfers the bookings directly to the software.

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruled that an objective and reliable time recording system is mandatory. With the projectfacts system, you meet all the requirements of the ECJ and the GDPR.

If you wish, you can specify that times can only be recorded within your office hours, e.g. between 6 am and 6 pm.
