Bank Interface Automation

Post your invoices automatically in the system!

What is changing about the bank interface?

The bank interface has been available since December 2023. Thanks to the interface, it is possible to reconcile the payment data from your accounts with open incoming and outgoing invoices. To enable this, you previously had to manually download your account transactions from your bank as a CSV file and then upload them to the system. From now on, this step is carried out automatically on request. Once a day, new account transactions from your bank are retrieved and posted. Aside from a visual check of the bookings, no further action is required from you. The automation drives the digitization of your company forward and saves you costs as well as working time.

Additional Features

The remaining, already existing functions of the bank interface remain unchanged. You can still post individual payments automatically or, if necessary, manually. The automated reconciliation of payments is based on the invoice number, which should therefore always be included in the payment reference of the transfer. When incoming and outgoing payments match the corresponding invoice amounts, the associated invoices are marked as fully paid. If payments are made that have a lower invoice total, these are marked as partial payments. The partial payment function is also available for invoices that are not settled via the bank interface.

If you consider a payment irrelevant, you can mark it accordingly. In that case, the corresponding payments will be skipped by the system. An overview of payments already made can be found under the system tile titled “Payments”.

When payments have been received, they are read out and listed under “Payments”. In the listing, partial payments are recorded as individual elements of the total amount.

To ensure that the setup runs smoothly for you, a matching must first be performed in the system configuration, for which our consulting team is happy to assist you. For more information, please feel free to contact us here!
