With the help of KPIs you can monitor & control the performance & progress of your processes. You can create them here quickly and easily.
In many companies it is common, for employee management or individual commission calculations, to agree on the achievement of certain KPIs ( Key Perfomance Indicator). Calculating such KPIs is usually quite complex. With projectfacts you can now create your own KPIs and calculate or display them per employee or time period, e.g. billing rate = (time on account + acquisition time) / contract time.
To create KPIs you use formulas, similar to Excel -> Addition (+), Subtraction (-), Multiplication (*) or Division (/).
What is a KPI?
KPI is the abbreviation for Key Performance Indicator. A KPI is a metric that can be used to measure the performance of activities within a company. Processes in companies can be monitored on the basis of these performance indicators. The information collected can be used to define measures for optimization. Which processes are examined in this context depends on the respective measures and objectives.
Creating KPIs
To create a KPI, proceed as follows:
- Go to your “Configuration”
- Select “General”
- Select “Free Fields”
- Click the Plus +
- A window will now open
- Select Module: User Access
- Give the KPI a name
- Select Field Type: KPI
- Now select from the lightbulb the values you need
- Enter a formula between two or more values (+, -, * or /)
- Under Display Settings, select where you want these KPIs to be shown
- Click “Save”
- You will now find your self-created KPIs under the list(s) you selected.
