Editing online with the projectfacts File Connector
Until now, web-based editing was only available for Microsoft Office files. With projectfacts version 5.14, this capability has been extended to other file formats as well.
How does the projectfacts File Connector work?
Linked to the appropriate editing application, files can be conveniently edited without the need to save them locally beforehand. Once editing is complete, they are uploaded in a versioned manner.
If another person is editing the file, the system locks it against further editing. The versioned upload can take place automatically or manually, depending on your preference.
Due to the File Connector’s independent nature, recently edited items can also be accessed via the executable file, independently of a login to projectfacts.
