2020 brings some changes at 5 POINT AG ✓ Data centre ✓ New support structures ✓ Price adjustment
Supporting you and your company to the best of our ability at all times is our top priority. In order to continue meeting these high standards, many changes are in store for 2020.
Additional Data Centre
To be able to offer you the best performance in the new year as well, we are expanding our hardware infrastructure. With an additional modern data centre, we can, among other things, significantly increase our computing power and storage capacities. In addition, you will benefit from improved failover security and increased flexibility.
Support Structures
To be able to support you even better and more efficiently, we are optimizing our support structures. In future, our email support will therefore be available to you free of charge. You can get direct contact with our customer advisors via our paid telephone application consulting. Together with you, our staff will address your questions and challenges.
Changes to SLA
Our Service Level Agreements are also being revised. Newly concluded packages continue to include the guaranteed response time of 8 hours to your requests. In addition, holders of an SLA will in future receive reduced prices on telephone application consulting, as well as training and workshops. Already existing packages remain valid until the end of their respective term.
Price Adjustment
After 9 years of stable prices, an adjustment of our licence prices has become necessary. Regular price increases in rent, technology, infrastructure, and personnel make this step unavoidable in order to continue to be a strong and reliable partner at your side in the future.
Since summer 2019, the new pricing structure has already been in effect for new customers. As of the turn of the year, prices for existing customers will also change. However, existing customers continue to benefit from their favourable legacy contracts. The increase of 10% is calculated on the basis of a customer’s currently applicable licence costs.
The costs for hosting on our projectfacts servers remain stable.
