Recurring Resources – Structured Task Planning
Control does not begin with reporting, but with task planning. In service companies, it is essential that tasks and responsibilities are clearly structured. Only when there is transparency about upcoming activities can resources be deployed sensibly and priorities be set realistically.
Transparency in everyday work through the task manager
The task manager in teamspace serves as the central control unit in day-to-day work. It brings together various operational elements – such as open items, follow-ups, and project-related tasks. Each employee receives a structured overview of their upcoming activities, while team management can track status, distribution, and progress across the entire team. This creates transparency at both the individual level and in higher-level team management.
Resource planning for recurring assignments
Complementing this is resource planning. Through recurring resources, recurring assignments can be planned in a structured way and assigned directly to a project – including specific time details. A typical example: an employee permanently takes on a weekly recurring activity, such as looking after a regular client or a recurring internal task. This resource is defined once and automatically scheduled at the appropriate interval. The planned time slots are taken into account in resource planning and made visible in the calendar. This means that capacity is not only planned theoretically, but represented realistically. At the same time, the scheduled resources are immediately available to the employee in time tracking, so that planning and actual performance are linked together at the system level.
