Recording times
With projectfacts, a wide variety of project times can be recorded. Do your employees work at times that are not covered by the normal working time account? These special cases can also be mapped via projectfacts.
Example 1: Travel time
If only 50% of the booked project time counts towards the employee’s working time account, as is common for travel time in some companies, the “Working time account factor” function offers the ability to map reality via a configurable area. For example, 2 hours booked to the project count as only 1 hour on the employee’s working time account.
Example 2: Weekend shift
If an employee is on duty at the weekend, the hours worked are often treated differently in terms of working time than hours worked during the week. If the framework is defined such that, for example, a 50% surcharge applies to the time booking, simply set 150% as the factor for the time calculation for the employee’s working time account. 2 hours actually worked, which are also recorded as such in the project, then become 3 hours on the employee’s working time account.
Where do I find the function?
The “Working time account factor” function can be found in the areas. To configure it, go to Projects in the configuration; there, under “Categories”, you can edit the factor in the areas. For travel time and weekend shifts, you can, for example, create 2 areas and link these directly to the project, so that your employees can conveniently record their times accurately.
