Release 6.1
After version 6.0 introduced many new technologies in May, the new version impresses with performance gains and a general simplification of navigation. With the new version, you can quickly and easily personalize your interface. For example, previously created reports or recurring actions can be added to the navigation interface as self-created bookmark tiles. In addition, the search behavior has been significantly improved. Both in the home view and in the individual modules, there is now a search bar in which you can search directly for possible matches. Thanks to intelligent input fields, the relevant elements — such as organizations or projects — are displayed directly after just a few characters have been typed.
Quickly find the employees with the right skills for a project
The skills management in projectfacts has been extended. First, it is centrally determined which skills should generally be recorded and monitored. Employees can then be rated per skill. This is done either by the employee themselves or by authorized third parties, e.g. HR employees or supervisors. After this brief preparation, the skills are available to you as selection criteria when selecting employees and in the capacity analysis.
Dynamic billing with surcharges and discounts
With the new dynamic billing format, projectfacts offers a very useful new function if you want to automate surcharges and discounts in invoices.
The dynamic item is very versatile. For example, it can be used to apply general discounts to an invoice or a sub-section of an invoice. At the same time, the item can also be used for percentage surcharges. One possible variant is, for example, an expense surcharge for travel costs applied to the total amount of an invoice.
projectfacts version 6.1 is available for update from 08.08.2019 for all customers with their own server and standard hosting.
Customers with basic hosting continue to have the option of switching to standard hosting and thus also updating to the new version. A current date for the update on the basic server has not yet been determined.

Bug Fixes
- External access + terms of use did not work correctly (menu items continued to be hidden)
- Time booking on ticket status change (project is mandatory as soon as a time has been entered)

- Even without a selected channel, owners were selectable in tickets
- Ticket processes were visible in the timeline even though there was no channel permission
- The project folder path in the project selection is now clickable
- Wiki pages of the rich text type could not be edited
