As everyone knows, time cannot be stopped — but the new version of projectfacts helps you keep to deadlines. Get alerted when a project budget is at risk of being exceeded. Analyse how quickly you handle customer requests and improve your customer service as a result. Work even more agilely by recording your project times directly via your board items. These and further features are offered to you by projectfacts 6.2.

Release Details

From 10 October 2019, the new version of projectfacts will be available to customers using our standard hosting. These customers can switch to the new version if they wish.

At the turn of the year, the update will also roll out to our base servers. This later date was chosen because a modern browser is essential for using projectfacts 6.2. Currently, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari in their respective current versions are supported. The Edge browser will follow in the coming weeks. For customers using older Windows versions and browsers, however, an update could cause problems.

Base server customers have the option of switching to one of our standard servers if they would like to experience the new version sooner.

Alerts for Time Budgets

Staying within budget is a fundamental prerequisite for a successful project. For this reason, it is important to be able to intervene in time when an overrun threatens. Managing this aspect of project controlling used to involve considerable effort. With projectfacts’ smart budget warnings, those days are over. You decide when and how you want to be alerted. Receive a notification when a certain number of hours or a percentage of the budget has been exceeded. You can also specify how the notification should reach you. In addition to an internal notification within projectfacts, email and SMS are also available as possible channels. This means you can keep an eye on the most important project budgets even when you are on the go. Planned project expenses and revenues can also be monitored easily and conveniently in this way.

projectfacts 6 brought you the popular agile working tools with the board module. With Version 6.2, you can work even more efficiently. In future, you can record your time directly on your board. To do this, board items such as comments and tickets can be linked to a project. Projects and work packages that you manage via your board receive this link automatically. This gives you even less reason to leave your board, keeping you agile.

Time Recording from 01.01.2020

The ruling of the European Court of Justice on time recording caused considerable excitement. The exact consequences are not yet foreseeable. However, far-reaching implications for all employers in the EU are beginning to emerge. With projectfacts’ time recording, you can face this change with confidence.
