Project calculation

The project calculation is used to determine the necessary budget for the execution of a project.

Before a project is started, a cost estimate must be made for the preparation of a quotation. For this purpose, various methods, such as a cost-benefit analysis, the top-down or bottom-up method are used to see whether the project is profitable at all. This is also the basis for the offer calculation.

For the calculation at least the following points should be considered in the project budget:

Estimation of expenditure for the project implementation
Change budget
Risk budget
Financial buffer
