Project controlling

Project controlling is an element of project management that is responsible for controlling the project process and ensuring that the project goal is achieved.

It is based on the data acquisition of target/actual conditions, as well as analyses and evaluations of possible deviations. It also ensures the correct execution of the project.

The basis of a project controlling is a comprehensible and transparent planning. The criteria time, resources and results play an important role. Important key figures, such as costs, should always be recorded promptly and clearly assigned to a cost center, so that the project costs can finally be clearly traced.

With the help of the Gantt chart, network planning or other analysis methods, good controlling is possible.
