About 7-it eG

7-it eG” (www.7-it.de) is a registered cooperative that was founded in September 2002 by 7 IT professionals, hence the name. To date, it has grown into an efficient network of 23 small IT companies offering its customers a wide range of services in the field of information and communication technology. Our business areas are: IT organization, IT systems engineering, software development and Internet presence.

In practice, “7-it eG” is above all a network of IT experts, a “virtual” company. Each of us has his or her own office. We use the latest information and communication technology for internal communication.

As we are very cost-conscious, we initially solved many internal tasks with “on-board tools”, e.g. with Excel spreadsheets for time recording, invoicing and commission accounting. As turnover increased, we reached the limits of our “on-board tools”, which became too time-consuming and error-prone. In 2010, we therefore decided to look around for a solution that roughly covered our technical requirements, was easy to use via the Internet and was “affordable”. After many discussions and several tests, we opted for the “Projectfacts” software from “5 Point AG” in the fall of 2012. We have been using Projectfacts since the beginning of 2013. We mainly use it for time recording and invoicing with quotations, order confirmation and contract management and for creating outgoing invoices. In the fourth quarter of 2013, we also successfully introduced the ticket system, replacing our old ticket system with this integrated solution.

Every introduction of new software is time-consuming, but we very quickly achieved that the “time recording” module was used by everyone. When it came to invoicing, we realized that, apart from a few small points, the functionality we needed was fully covered. 5 Point AG very quickly added the functionality we were missing, so that today we have a solution that is perfectly adapted to our needs.

Overall, we can say that with “projectfacts” we have chosen the right system for us. The fast, friendly and competent support from “5 Point AG” deserves special mention. The good maintenance of the software and its continuous further development make “Projectfacts” a valuable software and a good tool for our organization.
