Enquire nowWhat funding is available for digitalisation?
Several funding programmes are available to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Germany to support digitalisation. At federal level, "Go Digital" from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) funds consulting on digitalisation; the complementary programme "Digital Jetzt" expired at the end of 2023. In addition, the individual federal states offer numerous funding programmes, ranging from non-repayable grants and vouchers to low-interest credit and loans.
As a digital subsidy, the programmes cover 30% to 80% of eligible expenditure, depending on the federal state. Which digitalisation funding suits your company depends on your federal state and the size of your company. "Digital Jetzt" funding model
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) supported small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the digital funding programme "Digital Jetzt – Investitionsförderung für KMU". Until the end of 2023, the programme offered financial grants for the digitalisation of companies; it has since expired. For current digitalisation funding, "Go Digital" and the programmes of the federal states are the relevant options today.
Investments in small and medium-sized enterprises (including craft businesses and the liberal professions) were funded by the BMWi. The programme was intended to encourage companies to invest more in digital technologies and in the qualification of their employees.
