Definition
A dashboard (from the English for “instrument panel” or “control panel”) is regarded in IT as a visual overview of key information within a company. It is an important controlling instrument and shows you at a glance where everything is in order or where deviations are occurring.
You can generally customise a dashboard to suit your needs. It should contain the most important key figures, e.g. costs, times, project status, etc.
