Current State – What does the interface already do?

Synchronised booking of working hours between Projectfacts and Jira

Projectfacts Booking

  • Display of: Project information, Booked times for the current or selected day, Attendance, Open times
  • Booked times are transferred to Projectfacts as well as recorded in Jira Time Tracking.

Projectfacts Status

  • Display of the times booked in Projectfacts for a selectable day.
  • Option to edit and delete bookings directly from Jira.

In Progress – What are we currently working on?

Creation of sub-projects and work packages in Projectfacts from Jira Child Issues

  • Storage of the ProjectFactsId in the CustomField on the (Parent) Issue
  • Choice of sub-project/work package is based on the issue type (Epic, Task, Sub-Task, etc.)
  • Status mapping between Jira and Projectfacts is configurable
  • The generated ProjectFactsIds are automatically stored in the Child Issues
  • Transferred data: Title, description, time estimate

Creation of sub-projects and work packages by selection

  • One-time storage of the ProjectFactsId in the Jira Software project and manual selection of where an issue is to be transferred in the hierarchy (via dropdown)
  • Choice of sub-project/work package is based on the issue type (Epic, Task, Sub-Task, etc.)
  • Status mapping between Jira and Projectfacts is configurable
  • The generated ProjectFactsIds are automatically stored in the Child Issues
  • Transferred data: Title, description, time estimate

Status transfer on time booking

  • With every time booking in Jira, the status in Projectfacts is updated based on the configured mapping
