Boards

Definition

In project management, agile boards serve as an overview of all tasks that need to be completed to achieve the project goal. They are a type of task board or pinboard. The best-known variants in project management are Scrum and Kanban boards.

With the help of boards, you can divide tasks into different categories, such as “to do”, “in progress” and “done”. This gives you a direct overview of the current project status at all times.

Boards can be used in the traditional way with a physical board and sticky notes, or you can try a smart online tool where you can move individual items directly by drag & drop to change their status.
