Definition
Open issues generally refers to tasks that have not yet been completed, similar to a to-do list. However, these can also be incomplete projects or pending decisions.
In the area of project management, the open issues list (OIL) serves as a kind of log for recording and documenting project events. The list makes it possible to track which items were processed and closed by which employee.
