Browser

Definition

A browser is a program with which you can open websites on the internet. With the help of hyperlinks, you can then navigate between millions of pages.

At the top of the browser there is an address bar for entering web addresses, also called URLs. With navigation elements such as forward and back buttons, a defined home page or bookmarks, manufacturers enable intuitive operation.

Frequently used browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari.
