Scrive integration
Through the interface to the signature service provider Scrive you send documents out of projectfacts for signature, from the quotation to the framework agreement. Signed, they come back to where they came from.

Yes. Since version 2024.1 there has been an interface to the signature service provider Scrive: from projectfacts you send a document for electronic signature, the recipient signs online, and the signed PDF then sits back in projectfacts, in the very place it was sent from.
Any PDF can be sent. With business documents the route is built into the process, so with a quotation it sits directly in the quotation; beyond that, any document from the file module takes the same route.

From the quotation to the signed order
The most common case is the quotation, and that is where the waiting time sits that nobody needs: the PDF has gone out, and then it lies in the customer's printer.
The quotation is created in projectfacts
Items, prices and texts come from the master data, and the PDF is produced from your template, see quotation preparation.
Send it for signature
Instead of emailing the quotation and waiting for the scanned reply, it goes to Scrive for signature. The recipient signs online and needs no access to projectfacts for that.
Signed and back, then on to the order
The signed document sits on the business document. The accepted quotation becomes the order, with the project, the times and the billing behind it, the familiar route through order management and invoicing. What is still open you see in offer tracking.
Beyond business documents too
Not every document that needs signing is a business document. That is why the second route runs through the file module.
Any PDF from file management
Framework agreements, maintenance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, handover records: whatever sits in file management can be sent for signature. Signed, it sits back there and can be linked to QM documents.
You can see what is in transit
The document shows that it has been sent for signature. That saves the question of whether the contract has gone out yet, and the look into someone else's outbox.
Everything stays with the customer
Because the signed document sits in projectfacts, it is there on the process and on the contact in CRM. Anyone who wants to check months later what exactly was signed does not have to search a colleague's mailbox.

Scrive is connected in projectfacts through the interface configuration. After that, sending for signature is available on business documents and in the file module.
Several accounts, cleanly separated
If several divisions or companies use their own Scrive accounts, permission settings govern who uses which account. That has been possible since version 2024.2 and is the reason the integration also works in organisations with several clients or brands.
Your own Scrive account
Scrive is an independent service that you obtain from its provider. projectfacts brings the interface, not the signature service itself. Which signature level and which identification method you use, what it costs and where it is recognised depends on your contract with Scrive.

Scrive or Skribble?
projectfacts connects to both signature services. Which one it becomes is not decided by the software.
In projectfacts the route is the same
Both services are connected through the interface configuration, in both cases the document goes out for signature from the business document or from the file module and comes back signed. If you already have an account with one of the two, you connect that one. The differences, meaning signature levels, identification, prices and countries, are answered by the respective provider.
